There is a lot of good mountain biking on the east side of the Twin Cities. Carver Lake is a fun four mile trail in Woodbury that has its fair share for fast, flowy singletrack and optional technical features. On today's ride I test my skills on those technical features and see that I've got some room for improvement. I think I need to get back there and work on those wood features.
It has occurred to me that I need to be more adventurous on those wooden features. I've worked in the past to be better at skinnies by building a skinny to practice in my yard. I think my next building project will be building an elevated wood bridge feature.
