Lost Footage from Downieville

Watch on YouTube

On my second shuttle ride in Downieville, my GoPro decided to not record any audio from my mountain bike ride.  I was using an external changer to power the Karma Grip and the Hero 5 has a known issue with audio not recording when something is plugged into the USB port.  I ran the same setup for the first run with zero issues, not so lucky on the second run.  So I’m calling this video my lost footage because I’m making lemonade out of lemons.  I could have just tossed this footage but I figured some of you might enjoy it.

On this ride we again start on Sunrise Trail but I took the left at the fork instead of the right.  I honestly don't know which one is better but I think this one was less loose.  The video then covers a little more of Butcher Ranch trail.  This is mostly because I ended up accidentally turning off the GoPro before Third Divide but I do like Butcher Ranch the most of the trails we rode.  On Third Divide I crashed hard, cut my arm and ended up high tailing it to the bottom.  None of this is on my channel but will be on some other videos.  We’ll call this type 2 fun because I still had a good time but it wasn’t a perfect day.  Ideally I would liked to have rode better and crashed a lot less.   I'm probably the true punter on this trip.
