My Riding Gear

My gear is made up of items I've gathered over the year and actually use.  I have a glove deal with TASCO-MTB but I choose to wear their riding shirts and socks.  Take a look at the items below and let me know if you have any questions.

My helmet is a Kali Protectives Maya.  I bought the Maya in the Fall of 2016 and have been riding with it ever since.  My helmet is an older model and Kali no longer makes one that color.

I've been wearing Halo headbands since the Fall of 2016 as well.  I have two now and rotate them so that each has enough time to dry out.  I sweat a lot in the summer so it's nice having something to keep the sweat out of my eyes.

I wear Ryder Seventh glasses.  I prefer clear lenses since I mostly ride in the woods.  I have worn polarized shades but now I only wear them in the desert.

I wear a 3/4 riding jersey on most hot days to help manage my body temp.  I also like a 3/4 jersey because it offers some elbow protection as well.

If I'm not wearing a riding jersey, I'm most likely wearing a TASCO sessions ride shirt.  I like the tee-shirt look for most early morning rides since I normally wear my riding gear into work.

I'm a brand ambassador for TASCO-MTB so I get to wear some cool gloves.  I've got a few pairs so I'm rotating through a couple different sets.

I'm in the process of looking for a new shorts.  I like the Fox Ranger shorts but have started looking for something a little different.  I'm a fan of wearing shorts that fit well and aren't too baggy.

My shoes are Five Tens Freeridders. I've been wearing these since I moved to flat pedals and have been very impressed with their grip and comfort on and off the bike.  The stealth rubber on the Five Tens lived up to the hype.

I've started wearing a hip pack on all of my rides.  I like to have spares and tools on my rides but I don't need to carry enough stuff to require a backpack.  The Dakine Hot Laps hip pack has been great for carrying just what I feel I need on most rides.
