The What:
Deity Bladerunner pedals are a platform pedal for mountain biking.
Goods:
The Deity Bladerunners offer a large, thin platform for an excellent connection to the bike. I prefer a larger platform pedal due to my size 12 shoes and I prefer a thin pedal to help limit those pedal strikes on the trail. This pedal has been my go-to pedal for the past two years and has survived riding my local trails. The construction of these pedals is high quality and made to last.
Bads:
The only bad thing about these pedals is the pins. They will cut you until you've grooved your shoes to the pin pattern. I've cut some socks and taken a few to the shins early on but have done well since.
Conclusion:
After adjusting to these pedals, I've found these to be the best I've used. The platform is great for taking into the chunk and on drops. I've only ever slipped a pedal on climbing when I was in the wrong gear. I highly recommend these pedals.
